FALIA Essay Competition
Awards Ceremony 2022

The awards ceremony for the FALIA essay competition 2022 was held on January 20th at a restaurant along Hibiya Park.
The face to face ceremony was held for the first time in 3 years from the last time. 11 prize winners were awarded and more than 40 attendants celebrated them in the ceremony.

The Awards Ceremony

35 essays on topics related to life insurance were submitted by international students from 24 countries, a record number of nationalities.
FALIA awarded 11 students from 10 countries including the Philippines, Ghana, China, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and Vietnam. 

This time, various guests from award winners' universities and embassies, Dai-ichi Life executives, the Life Insurance Association of Japan, General Insurance Institute of Japan, and An-Nahal together with the selection committee members and FALIA staff listened to the award winners’ presentation and participated in the discussions.

The Reception Party

The reception party started in the evening with a celebratory toast, followed by light refreshments, and speech from the prize winners.
